Mission
The MISSION of 925 Sports is to utilize sports to empower youth to become exemplary leaders of the next generation.
Values
925 Sports core VALUES are imparted through our Hitting for the Cycle Mentorship program. Hitting for the Cycle Mentorship program supports youth social emotional development through group processes built around the game of baseball. Our mentoring program promotes: purpose, social well-being, commitment, and healthy living. Purpose:
Purpose: Create a sense of purpose: understanding our purpose as an athlete, student and citizen.
Preparation: Create an environment for positive social well-being and having motivation to achieve our goals daily.
Commitment: Create a strong and supportive community that produces a sense of pride to accomplish goals on the field and in our community.
Consistency: Create an environment where health and nutrition are paramount. Having good health and enough energy to consistently perform at a high level on a daily basis.
Goal
Our GOAL is to increase the number of minority youth participating in sports that traditionally have low participation rates for minorities at the youth level; such as, baseball, golf and soccer.
